The Tough Ones 2, directed by Aleksi Mäkelä, premiered on 19 February and is the most watched film in Finnish cinemas for the second week in a row. The Tough Ones 2 has attracted 101 085 admissions.

The Tough Ones (1999), directed by Mäkelä, became a phenomenon over time. Some fans of the film watched it countless times and still know the lines by heart. The first The Tough Ones attracted a total of 330 000 viewers.
