Beautiful Sassy Happy Kaija Koo's journey to becoming a confident and courageous artist. The film is a powerful story about one of Finland's greatest artists, whose music has comforted and empowered generations. Her pianist husband, Markku Impiö, sees her gift more clearly than anyone else. However, success does not come without an inner struggle. The grief brought on by the loss of her father stops Kaija in her tracks and causes her to temporarily give up on her dreams. When unexpected popularity catapults Kaija to superstardom, she must not only face the shadows of success, but also find her own voice – so that she can take the stage more freely than ever before. The film, produced by Solar Films, is directed by Selma Vilhunen stars Oona Airola and Jari Virman.
