In the film, Maija and Jalmari, a couple played by Kiti Kokkonen and Sami Hedberg, inherit the house of their dreams. For a while, they live in the belief that luck has kicked them in the ass. But: the house needs a little renovation. Soon the couple find themselves in the middle of an all-time renovation mess.

The Renovation was filmed in Finland and Estonia last summer. The film was written by Taneli Mustonen and Aleksi Hyvärinen, based on Atle Antonsen and Arild Fröhlich's hit comedy Norske Byggeklosser. The film is distributed by Nordisk Film.
