In the middle of the forest lies a run-down detached house, the childhood home of the now grown-up siblings, to which they return after years to settle their parents' property. The house and the forest have a dark history – 15 years earlier, the father of the trio was found brutally murdered and the youngest of the children, Matilda, was found locked in a small cage in the corner of the bedroom. The mother was then declared missing. Soon they discover that the forest is making them behave strangely. Is the environment bringing up the siblings' childhood traumas or is there something supernatural happening in the forest? As darkness falls, the events of the past begin to repeat themselves and no one is safe.
