Ricky Rapper and the Doppelganger has passed the 100 000 viewer mark. As of yesterday, Thursday 27 February 2025, the film has reached 104 990 admissions in cinemas. The significant milestone was crossed in two weeks, as the film premiered on 14 February 2025. The film is produced by Solar Films and distributed by Nordisk Film

The film's director Samuel Harjanne is delighted with the interest in domestic culture: 'I am very happy that our adventurous Ricky Rapper and the Doppelganger has already reached such a large audience. I could never have imagined that my own debut feature film would reach this kind of milestone so quickly. Domestic cinema is a great and precious thing, and domestic family films are an important part of our culture. I am glad that we see this as meaningful for the audience as well."

The film is based on the children's book of the same name by Sinikka and Tiina Nopola. The main roles are played by Aleksi Johansson as Ricky Rapper and Alma Järvensivu as Nelly Noodlehead. The other main roles, as the beloved Lennart Lindberg and Elvi Rapper, will continue to be played by the ever-popular Ylermi Rajamaa and Jenni Kokander. Iina Kuustonen will play the role of Serena Rapper and Oona Airola the new Mirabella. The film is produced by Rimbo Salomaa, who has also produced the previous three and the first three Ricky Rapper films. Director Samuel Harjanne is known as a successful musical director.
