The Tough Ones 2, directed by Aleksi Mäkelä, attracted over 56 000 admissions in its opening week. The film, which premiered on Wednesday 19 February, attracted 4291 admissions at the preview screenings and 52 226 at the actual screenings.

In terms of audience share, The Tough Ones 2 immediately took its place as the week's most-watched cinema film, and has remained in first place for five days in a row.

"It feels great that the film has found a wide audience across the country," says producer Markus Selin.
