A film about the life of singer Kari Tapio

The film King of hearts tells the story of popular Finnish singer Kari Tapio. In the 1970s he sang himself into the hearts of Finnish people and his popularity lasted all the way until his death in 2010.
The timeline of the film includes the whole life of Kari Tapio, unashamedly without secrets. The early stages of his career included many failures, and the abundant use of alcohol affected heavily his everyday life. Although all that was known to the general public, Kari Tapio enjoyed his popularity until the very end.
