Off The Map is an action-packed road movie that follows the journey of a single career woman and the neglected girl from next door to the girl’s Grandma’s. The journey from Helsinki to the Kainuu countryside brings together three strong women of different generations, who find each other and the solutions to their problems in the Kainuu wilderness.

Director TIINA LYMI (1971) is a well known actress, writer and director in Finland. She made her breakthrough role in the feature film Akvaariorakkaus (Love in a Fish Bowl) in 1993. Since then she has had many roles in popular TV shows and films. She has also written and directed several stage plays. In 2014 she directed her first short film Naisen nimi (Just a Name) which has been screened at several film festivals around the world. Äkkilähtö (Off The Map) is her first feature film, which was released in Finland in February 2016.
