Happier times, Grump, directed by Tiina Lymi, has crossed the 200 000 spectator milestone. That happened on Tuesday September 18th 2018 and the exact box office figure then was 203 334 spectators, in domestic theatrical release. The movie premiered 24.8.2018 – so it has reached the milestone in less than a month.

The producer Markus Selin is still very happy: “We are overjoyed that the movie follows in the footsteps of its predecessor. A handsome number like this can’t be taken for granted and only a few domestic releases reach these sort of figures, annually. At the end of the day, the spectators decide the success – and it looks like the charm of The Grump still appeals to the audiences.”

Happier times, Grump is directed by Tiina Lymi and the title role is played by Heikki Kinnunen. His granddaughter is played by Satu Tuuli Karhu and the stellar supporting cast includes Jani Volanen, Elina Knihtilä, Sulevi Peltola, Iikka Forss, Mari Perankoski and Janne Reinikainen.
