The trailer of Fingerpori has just been released. It gives you a glimpse of the City of Fingerpori and the ordinary life of its inhabitants. Well – probably it all depends how you define the word ordinary.

The movie, produced by Solar Films, will premiere om Wednesday October 16th 2019. This live action film is directed by renowned actor Mikko Kouki. The story is based on the cartoon and the characters of Fingerpori, created by Pertti Jarla. The screenplay is by Petja Lähde and Mikko Kouki.

The ensemble cast includes Kari Väänänen, Jenni Kokander, Pirjo Lonka, Santtu Karvonen and Aku Hirviniemi, co-starring Iikka Forss, Miska Kaukonen, Akseli Kouki, Marja-Leena Kouki, Juho Milonoff, Helmi-Leena Nummela, Jan Nyquist, Sara Paavolainen, Tom Petäjä, Olli Rahkonen, Asko Sarkola, Sanna Stellan, Hannes Suominen and Linda Wiklund.

Fingerpori The Movie is produced by Jukka Helle, Nina Laurio and Markus Selin and distributed by Nordisk Film. The movie was shot in Turku last summer.

Fingerpori is one of the most popular cartoons in Finland. It is currently published in 44 different medias, out ot which 11 are online publications. In print media the cartoon can be daily (excluding Sundays) viewed by 2,14 million Finns.
