Private investigator Vares delves into the case to help his journalist friend, Ruuhio, and finds new leads that shockingly point at influential people. Set in the historical seaside city of Turku on the west coast of Finland, The Girls of April is based on a novel by Reijo Mäki, one of Finland’s best-selling detective writers.
