HAPPIER TIMES, GRUMP HAS CROSSED THE 300 000 SPECTATOR MILESTONE
Happier times, Grump, directed by Tiina Lymi, has crossed the 300 000 spectator milestone on Saturday 20th 2018.
The exact box office figure so far is 301 308 spectators, in domestic theatrical release. The movie premiered 24.8.2018 – so it has reached the 300 000 milestone in about two months.
Happier Days, Grump is by far the most watched domestic movie of this year.
“Crossing the 300 000 spectator line is extremely rare for a domestic movie – it only happens a few times every year. In this millennium it has happened only 20 times – and six of these have been Solar Films productions. We are more than happy that the Grump still appeals to the audiences”, says Katarina Nyman, head of distribution of Nordisk Film.
Happier times, Grump is directed by Tiina Lymi and the title role is played by Heikki Kinnunen. His granddaughter is played by Satu Tuuli Karhu and the stellar supporting cast includes Jani Volanen, Elina Knihtilä, Sulevi Peltola, Iikka Forss, Mari Perankoski and Janne Reinikainen.
